DecembeRadio returns to the studio with their highly anticipated, sophomore release Satisfied, available nationwide on August 26, 2008.

One would think that two years of heavy touring would wear a band down but the opposite is true for DecembeRadio. Recorded at Atlanta’s famed Southern Tracks studios and with the return of producer Scotty Wilbanks, Satisfied is an album of celebration and praise. "[There is] the peace and joy that only Christ can give and it's the reason we do what we do. A lot of these songs are about love, hope and enjoying this awesome life that God has given to us. It's a celebration!"

The track "Satisfy Me" starts up with blazing guitars and a bit of a classic rock mixed with a little country in the vocals. Blend that in with a powerful message… and you’ve got one rockin’ song. "While recording the new record," says Josh Reedy, "we tried to ask ourselves a few questions: ‘Who are we and what are we trying to say?’ The song ‘Satisfy Me’ not only represents who we are musically but how we feel spiritually as a band. You can never be satisfied with who you are alone. You'll come up short every time. The relationship we have with God is the only thing that will ever satisfy us. Music will never satisfy us, nor money, fame or any of those things. Being satisfied by Christ is the reason we're here on this earth. To satisfy is exactly what He died to do. The music, lyrics and soul of this record as a whole are about not being afraid to be who you are. Be satisfied."

Satisfied is filled with strong rock songs like "Gasoline," which is a favorite of band member Brian Bunn. "It’s about the revival that we feel when God changes our lives and it burns like gasoline," he says. "It’s just a rockin’ song. Sometimes I really feel the love of God and I get excited about that; that song sounds like what’s inside me."

The album also manages to mix in slower worship ballads like "For Your Glory" and "Look For Me," a simple reminder that we can always turn to God with all our troubles – no matter what we’re going through.

The current single and Top 10 AC Hit, "Find You Waiting" finishes out the album perfectly with smooth vocals and a melody that flow together seamlessly. The song was inspired by the loss of a friend and the impact that it had on his family. "A close friend of ours named Chris was battling cancer and cancer took his life," says Miker. "His wife really relied on God and remained strong. That really touched our lives--her whole outlook and perspective."

DecembeRadio has toured most recently this spring with rockers Third Day and says that being on the road so much has really helped them connect with their fans. "We learned more about our fans and what they like," he says. "We learned a lot about what works best live, and we wanted to make sure all the songs work great live. We just wanted to make music that the fans like."

Fans who have enjoyed DecembeRadio’s live show will find this album to be welcomingly similar – a mix of heavy rock songs and gorgeous worship songs - all with lyrics and a message that will hit home with everyone. Satisfied releases August 26th on Slanted Records. For more info. On the band, visit www.decemberadio.com and www.myspace.com/decemberadio.
