Sevenglory’s second project, Atmosphere, is a mixture of beat-driven prayers and commissions to love.

“All I have and all I am / broken heart an empty hands / all of this for you” is the prayer of “All of This for You,” a soft worship track. The style of this song is in stark contrast with “Let it Be Love,” which shortly follows and is a fast, pop-rock track based on 1 Corinthians 13. But Sevenglory still proves their ability to play several styles of rock well. “Even the Blues” is a slow, acoustically based track which serves to encourage people who are struggling with depression or melancholy.

Their closing track, “Show Me the Light,” is an upbeat combination of a prayer to God for revelation and a call to fellow Christians to step up an bring Christ to a searching world. It ends the CD on a good note—almost as though it is the benediction after a service.

While some of the songs on Atmosphere are not overwhelmingly original, they are not clumsy and fit together well. Overall, this CD would be a good addition to the collections of worship and rock lovers alike.
