If you've been waiting to pick up Cross Culture's debut album, Proof Positive, wait no more! It will have your head banging to the beat and your heart pumping with joy. With a unique blend of sounds ranging from the likes of TobyMac to Jason Mraz, even Santana and Alien Ant Farm, this is the perfect CD for those who love all kinds of music.

There are too many songs on this album that stand out, and it would be impossible to choose favorites. It hits on a wide range of issues, with different sounds to portray each one, including jazz and some Spanish influences.

Cross Culture opens up with "This Moment in Time." Living life by the minute in Christ's love should be the way all lives are lived; otherwise we risk having life pass us by. Each minute is just as important as the last and next, and Christ loves us all just as much.

"Swing" encourages us all to get up and move, because as Christians, we have to do things we sometimes don't want to do. This is the perfect concert song, as it exclaims, "Let it all go, lose control!" You will not be able to sit still while listening to this song.

The Spanish sounding song "The Way it Should Be" explains our many chances to be close to Jesus, and the many times we screw it up for ourselves due to the huge amount of trust we put in ourselves. It desperately asks, "What can I do to get back to You the way it should be?"

Track nine is great encouragement for those who have little to no support from friends or family while living in Christ. "She Won't" is an emotional story of someone who is holding on to faith because it's all she has, proclaiming, "She'll be more than they say she can. She's meant for more than they could ever understand." This one is rising to the top of my favorite list.

"Wave" is the perfect ending, alluding back to the wave in the first song that we are told to get up and ride. It's hard to not let life get in the way, but having the determination to "not let the wave take a hold of me" is a great way to go through life, shoving through one challenge after another.

Other issues spoken of include yearning for the Truth, living too comfortably to live like we are supposed to, and taking for granted the ultimate price that Jesus paid. This album is too good and too solid to let words justify it. Check out Proof Positive for yourself, in stores now!
